This post is from a while back, a beautiful day spent with my best friend eating and exploring in Dublin. I'm going to be honest and say that I didn't put this post up at the time because I wasn't happy with the way my body looked in the photos. I think it's time to be fully open and say that there are always times we aren't happy with ourselves, inside and out. I have struggled with body issues for years, like most people. And I'm realizing my blog shouldn't be an unreal depiction of how I look or feel. I have worked very hard over the years trying to find the right balance within myslef, and now I am at the stage where I know it is equally important to be happy in your skin as it is to be content in the life you lead. I am finally in a job I love, spreading my passion for yoga, eating healthily (following no particular diet as such) and trying to better myself each day.
In my yoga classes I tell my students to listen to your body. If your body feels like you deserve an icecream - than enjoy that creamy delicious icecream. If your body is craving a salad soak up all the greens you can find! Experiment with healthy food and treat your body to positive energy. Quiet your mind and really feel what your body is telling you, the answer is there, within you. MP x
